These hands-on workshops help participants gain essential digital skills and keep up with our rapidly evolving tech landscape.
A great example is the “Free Upgrade to Windows 11” workshop held on September 16, 2025, in the heart of Ghent. With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025, many people risked being left behind. HIHTAST stepped in with a sustainable solution: guiding participants through the process of upgrading their laptops to Windows 11—completely free of charge. Dozens attended, and many left with a fully updated device, ready to rejoin the digital world.
